The Prince Charlie is a formal garment based on military apparel. Imported from Scotland, it is a short jacket and waistcoat made from 100% new wool worsted Barathea. The short tail and vents at the back allow ease of movement and comfort.

The day jacket (also known as the Braemar Doublet) is a short jacket. If it is made from worsted wool Barathea, this jacket is appropriate for both formal and informal occasions. This material is available in black (below, left), blue or bottle green. The informal day jacket (below right) is also available in herringbone tweed material and is available in lovat blue or lovat green.

The Sporran is the pouch worn at the front of the kilt and usually contains all the articles normally found in pockets. They should be worn low but not so low as to bounce around when walking. They are manufactured in Canada, and are available in either leather or fur.

The belts we carry are made in Canada and measure 2.5 inches in width. The buckles are available in pewter and are fitted with a leather center piece slotted to fit a clan crest badge.

We also offer clan crest badges and clan crest kilt pins.

The highland dirk is a single edged short sword. It is available in two models. The first has a plain scabbard and the second is the knife and fork model. The dirks illustrated have blades of hand-wrought tempered steel and the scabbards are covered in the finest leather.

The `sgian dubh` (or black dagger) is used strictly for costume. At one time it was meant to be a concealed weapon shown only in the presence of a host. Out of courtesy the dagger would be placed in the owner's sock in an obvious position.
